I've spent more than two decades working on Bay Street. After starting my own family in 2018, I struggled to find the right balance between work and family life. I realize that many others are in the same camp, and don't have a lot of time to attend to their own priorities. The journey of a parent teaches you that life is no longer about you.

My mission is to provide financial guidance and education to empower Canadians to make their personal finances a priority, in a simple, low friction, minimalistic way. I want to empower you to become more confident and engaged with your finances, and yourself, over time. Most importantly, I believe that developing a relationship with you is key to long term financial success so that you are understood, valued and respected - no matter how much money you have, what you earn, or who you are.

Professionally, I believe you're never done learning, which is why I have all those letters after my name :) To give back to the profession, I am a current board member of the Financial Planning Association of Canada and run the Communications committee for that organization. I have also volunteered to both write and mark the CFP exams for FP Canada several times, which has been one of my most enjoyable professional volunteer opportunities!

Personally, I'm the mom of 6 year old twins (boy-girl) and they are my #1 priority! They keep me on my toes and help to ground me (as all kids do)! As well, I cofounded a dance performance company in 2010, Momentum Dance Toronto, of which I'm current a board member, dancer and choreographer. I also enjoy hot yoga, cross stitching, long walks with my husband, trying to grow my own vegetables and cooking.

With over 13 years of experience in the Canadian financial services industry, I have a passion for assisting Canadians to learn about personal finance and make informed decisions. My speciality is assisting clients whose lives span the US/Canada border, providing tailored solutions to their unique cross-border challenges. I genuinely care about my clients and strive to build relationships based on openness and empathy. My clients describe me as a warm and compassionate listener. I say this with pride and strive to make talking about your finances as comfortable as possible.

Embracing the digital nomad lifestyle, I left behind the security of a full-time Bay Street job to embark on an exciting adventure. Currently based in Hobart, Tasmania, I have been able to work with clients while exploring Mainland Australia, New Zealand, and South-east Asia. The digital nomad lifestyle allows me to explore new horizons while maintaining the same dedication to serving my clients, regardless of our locations. I look forward to working with you along your financial journey!

HI! I'm a Financial Planner with a passion for shaping financial lives. Over the course of my 15-year career in the financial industry, I've had the privilege of serving clients in both retail banking environments, independent brokerages as well as training and supporting other financial planners, this experience is what led to my passion for advice only financial planning.

I find immense satisfaction in guiding clients through the complexities of financial decisions, offering clarity and foresight to help them achieve their goals and make decisions. Most importantly to me, is being able to offer this advice in a model that aligns with my values by being unbiased and having the full flexibility to guide my clients in the direction that feels right for them without the worry of sales targets that other institutions are well known for.

What truly drives me is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with my clients. I have a unique ability to demystify complex financial strategies that are not only understandable but actionable that leave clients feeling empowered by planning.

I also place significant importance on continuous learning. I am constantly researching new ideas and changes within the financial industry and expanding my knowledge to be able to share it with others.

I help Gen X&Y Canadians make sense of their money so they’ll feel in control of their finances. My goal is to help 30 and 40-somethings live their lives without the added stress of money!

In my almost 20 years of hands-on experience working with Canadians, I’ve gained valuable, real-life knowledge of the financial industry in Canada. In my time as a bank employee, I recognized people in my generation had trouble finding financial advice that actually helped them, because they didn’t have “enough” money for the banks to care enough about them…

So in 2018, I left my bank salary, benefits, and pension behind so I could help a younger demographic with their finances in a way that makes more sense for them. I offer my unbiased advice for a fee, rather than selling financial products they may or may not need!

My clients are busy raising young families, advancing their careers, or building businesses. They just don't have the time or energy to focus on their finances the way they know they should- and I don't blame them! So I help sift through the noise, understand what's important, and take action to move forward.

I like to say I’m part money coach, part (unofficial) therapist, but all financial planner. This approach to money isn’t for everyone, but it creates trusting relationships with clients, so I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Who do I like to work with?

I work with Canadians in my demographic- clients who aren’t thinking about retirement just yet.
My clients are raising young children. They’re changing jobs & getting promotions.
They want to know if they can afford the bigger house, pay for daycare, and still have time and money to do the things they love.

When I'm not at work, you'll find me mountain biking in the summer, playing ultimate frisbee and spike ball. During the winter, I'll likely be working remote from a sunny destination :)
